Seminário com o Professor Thaddeus Maloney - Instituto RAIZ - Eixo
O Professor Thaddeus Maloney irá estar no Instituto RAIZ – EIXO para uma Palestra dedicada ao tema: Controlling the swelling of pulp fibers at different length scales.
This lecture will deal with a new concept for fibrillating pulp fibers. How to control the swelling of the cell wall, the fibril bundle and the elementary fibril independently. This can potentially give ways to making new types of paper products with enhanced properties compared to todays papers. An example of producing paper with high bulk and good dewatering is discussed.
